This year’s Ignite was awesome! The two things that blessed me the most were Eucharistic Adoration and the Sacrament of Confession. Adoration was amazing, and it was at those moments each day that I felt really close to God. During one Adoration time, I started thinking back on all the good and bad things that happened to me in my life. I thought of the times I turned away from God and how every time I did, He was there waiting for me to turn back to Him. Adoration is a place where I can be alone with God in peace and quiet. That means a lot to me because we live in a  world that is full of noise that distracts us. These times of Adoration were a big blessing to me and the beginning of my new adventure.

In the past, I never really thought about my faith and becoming closer to God wasn’t something I expected. My faith has become so much stronger and so much more alive with the help of Ignite. My faith is now alive, and it is like I found myself in God. It’s beautiful. Now I want to keep growing in my love for Jesus. I had such an amazing fun week at Ignite BC. Going into this camp I thought I wouldn’t really make friends, and that it wouldn’t do anything for me, but honestly, I’m changed. I met new people and loved being around other young Catholics. Now knowing I have friends that share my faith is so encouraging. I love it.
